HAPPINESS UNCOMPROMISED

There is nothing in this world more important to a parent than to see their children’s happiness uncompromised.  We all are, more often than not, influenced by our parents’ good advice.  No good parent will ever give bad advice to their children.  But there comes a point in our lives where we decide to take our own paths that could perhaps be contradictory from our parents’ advise.  If we do, we have take any consequence that may result from that decision, whether it be good or bad.  That’s just part of life.

There are times when we take our parents’ advice but know deep in our hearts that it, although custom fit to their lives, does not fit in ours, but somehow we are afraid to take a chance because we may hear “I told you so.”

As a parent, I would rather see my children take their own good advice.  They may ask for mine and I would freely give it but with the understanding that I give advice based on my own life experiences.  There is no way I could ever know every aspect of what is in their hearts.  Regardless of the results of the path they paved for themselves, at the end I will still be there with open arms to love them unconditionally.

God’s love is a trillion more times powerful than mine as a parent.  God will take anyone, at any time, with any past, the worst of the worst, through genuine acceptance of Jesus and repentance from sin.  Could this be the reason why as humans we tend to disrespect that unconditional love?  Perhaps.  If these people could only understand the magnificence, the blessings and grace that can come out of a love like God’s, turning their lives around and running back into His arms would not be such a difficult decision.

Until my next rant... LOVE ONE ANOTHER!
