The Word of God, aka The Bible is not just a book.  There is a reason why the Bible is the No. 1 bestseller in the world.  Unlike others, the Bible is alive because every word in that book is authored by God.  He was the one who inspired the physical authors to include what is in it as it makes its journey into the lives of all humans century after century, year after year.  Nothing and no one outlives the Bible.  Get used to it, it's going to be here until the end!

Why do I say it's alive?  Because as unique as the individual who ever laid their eyes on the Bible to read it, is as unique as the effect it has on each of us. The Bible changes and impacts each of our lives differently than the others.  But the common denominator is that it enriches our relationship with God.  The ultimate goal of the Word of God is to get us back home to him.  Free will has given us a chance to choose Him without force.  How humbling is that?  God has the power to do whatever He wants but He gives us a choice whether to be His or not.

The Word is like a seed.  Each type of seed has its own DNA required to produce the type of fruit or vegetable it was created to be.   The same is true with the Word of God having a supernatural life within it to fulfill God's promises in our lives.  When you plant that seed in your heart, when it grows it produces salvation, prosperity, healing, strength, etc. whatever God says belongs to you!

Whatever it is that you lack in your life today, The Word is readily available for you at your disposal.  God is an awesome God.  He said that if you profess His Word to what you need in your life, say it out loud, stand on it, believe in it, He will grant it to you.  I often wonder why He wants us to speak it out.  I believe it's because there is power to saying things out loud.  It is a sort of manifestation when you utter the words from your tongue because we tend to believe things when we hear ourselves say them.  Whatever comes from our hearts passes through our lips to create what what we want to see happen.

So if you need salvation, improve your finances, become healthy, etc.  read the Bible, seek God's promises to you, utter the words as if it has already been granted, stand on the Word,  and put God right in the middle of your life, guaranteed you will achieve it!

Exactly how big are your dreams?  Everyone has goals.  We strive each day to make our dreams a reality.  People say that when you dream, you might as well dream big.  What does that really mean?   When you look up to your dreams, does it have a ceiling?  Well, if you put God first in your life, you might as well get rid of that ceiling because God's ability to allow you to reach that dream is endless.  As humans, we doubt ourselves.  We put limitations to our ability to reach the highest peak of our goals.  Understand that God does not have a limit for you.  As long as you keep Him in the center of what you want to achieve, and as long as it is in line with His purpose for you (this part you have to figure out on your own), your achievements are pretty much Carte Blanche.

In everything you do, put God first. Take time in counsel with the Lord. Let Him help you outline the basic tasks and responsibilities your day holds. As you do this, your day will be more orderly. Whatever you put in the Lord’s hands will always return with His blessing.

He will direct you. This is God’s promise, and He will keep it. Through this verse He is saying, “If you acknowledge Me, I’ll take control of your day in a way that will assist and profit you.” He will lead us through every detail of each day to its highest fulfillment.  Proverbs 3:5-7

So what are you waiting for.  You don't have to believe what I say, you can certainly try it out for yourself and see how far it brings you.  It's going to be hard to do at first but if you open your heart and ask Him specifically, He will never let you down.  Pray for it always.

Let's just say that you wanted an artist to paint a portrait of you, but instead of painting the physical person in front of them as the artist sees it, you wanted them to paint you for what they see what you look like as the person inside.  What do you think the artist will come up with?

How do you really see yourself?  Is your priority to maintain your outward self more than who you are inside? or both?  Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with maintaining both.  What I'm getting at is how deep you see yourself as a person.

Is your purpose of working on yourself inside to shine and inspire forward so as to create a chain to another and so on and so forth, is that something you thought about?  Perhaps a purpose?  Most often people tell me that they wished they had a talent, something that they could use to effortlessly achieve their purpose on this earth.  What they don't realize is that they already have it.  A purpose doesn't have to be something spectacular that will have a shock value to the world so that they can wow people.

I believe when God put us on this earth, He already know what our purpose is.  It is up to us to find that one thing (TOT) to share to the world but first and foremost we have to be in touch with our hearts in association with God.  My goal is that if I could only inspire one person, just one person to turn back to God, I have done what I needed to do in this world and I will be happy with that. My imperfection makes it even more impactful because it only shows that I am an imperfect human being that others can relate to as well.

So what I would want to see on that canvas created by that artist who saw me not for what he/she sees physically, I would want to see maybe a calm ocean with waves coming in, taking something good from its shore and pulling it back out with them as they leave. What would yours look like?

I have been bitten by the remodel bug again.  Mind you it's not a major remodel, just sprucing up a drabby room, that is, the family room.  I usually take my time before I do any updates so I wouldn't regret it.

Since my artwork is beginning to grow, I decided that instead of the overflow being stored in crates, I might as well display it in this room.  This could be my boho chic gallery, ya know?

So I decided on a really happy color and chose turquoise! I am on a turquoise kick lately.  I don't mean southwestern shade but a really deep turquoise shade like the ocean.

AFTER- The artwork is spaced out right now but I'm pretty sure, these aren't going to be their permanent home.  Just for now so they can be appreciated by anyone who comes over.  Plus, it is where the venue for my new business venture will be.  More of that later!

What is your truth?  Armed with the knowledge that God would not purposely throw you onto this earth without life support, how do you honestly view yourself?

Imagine TRUTH as a beautiful pink cloud arising from your heart, moving up  into your brain then out of your lips.  Then the same pink cloud travels and forms a strong barrier around you and that barrier would shun and protect you from the lies that was thrown at you constantly.  I bet you would believe that you are who you say you are, the best person you can be and nothing anyone else can fling at you could break that barrier, therefore your truth stays intact!

If you know in your heart that you are a good person, worthy of receiving all the good things God has in store for you in your life, then why do you still doubt yourself?  I know you're not that person who purposely looks at your flaws and actually thrive from it.  At least not purposely!  When you think stink and believe it, it is because you let others who aren't experts on YOU have the last word about YOU.

Speaking your truth will define who you are.  It will manifest everything around you to your favor and you will like the results if you line your definition with how God sees you, i.e. perfect in His eyes.  If that's the case, who would better believe in you but YOU?  You were created in His perfect image, so you should believe it.  Let your heart be your guide.

Truth vs. Fact

What is the difference between truth and fact?   Are they the same?  Let’s just put these two in perspective then.  Suppose you were stricken with an “incurable” illness.  It can be a fact that you are sick, but then God said that you are healed by the lashings that Jesus received when He died on the cross, and that’s the truth.  Now you have a choice.  It is up to you to apply the truth of God’s word to the fact that you’re sick and make the change, or just stay sick and leave it as that.

In all our human comprehension, it would be easier to agree with the fact rather than the truth because the fact scream a lot louder than the Word of God does.  The Word of God will be stifled until you choose to say them out loud and mean it.  When it does, though, it will be the final word because it will come out in faith!  If it is God’s Word about healing, you will be healed.  If it is about prosperity, you will be prosperous, if it is about deliverance, you will be delivered.

When you accepted Christ as your Lord and savior, you have a binding contract with God.  When your heart is full of faith and do your part by believing, speaking and acting, God’s Word will manifest in your life.  There will be no circumstance on earth and no evil   in hell can stop it.

So we need to stop believing the stories you have heard about someone who believed the Word and didn’t work for him.  No one can ever know why it didn’t because you don’t really know for sure what is in that person’s mind and heart.  Focus on yourself and your relationship with God, quit asking questions and settle it once and for all.  God’s Word IS the truth!  Unless you believe and receive it fully in your heart, you will never see the truth.
