The Black Horse

We all realize that the millennials of today belong to the ME generation.  While I can't blame them for being young and stupid, I also worry for them.  Of course, there is a fraction of them who are much aware of the path which this world is leading, as much as the older and wiser know, but the majority is cause for my concern.  I fear that in their oblivion of the Word's Revelation they will be ill-prepared for the second coming of Christ.

I pray every night that Jesus takes me and all His believers home soon and the Rapture happens now. I know you may think it is selfish of me to desire to speed things up but it is really not up to me.  I am prepared for it but I mourn for the souls who continue to push it to the back burner and refuse to believe that the Bible is NOT A LIE.  Deep thinkers and deep feelers such as myself are truly sensitive not only to the physical world but internally as well.

My inspiration for this entry is the black horse in the Book of Revelation.  It will be ridden by one of the four horsemen which symbolizes famine.  Famine.  No one, not even from my generation truly knows what famine is.  I have experienced it for a couple of days, not because there is no abundance of food but because I could not afford it.  It was a time when my daughter was a baby.  I could not get a hold of her father who was on a drug binge and I had no money to buy her formula.  I didn't have a car, he had it.  With one single dollar left to my name, I prayed and bought a Lottery ticket.  I won $20 and bought my daughter all the formula that it could buy.   I could not chance that she go hungry so I went without food instead.  Things mothers would do, huh?  I went without food for a couple of days until Grandman, my father-in-law came back from his trip and saved us.  My daughter's father still AWOL.  In the two days I was almost delirious from starvation.  When you go hungry, you begin to hate the world.  You begin to blame God and ask Him why He allowed such circumstance for you.  You start to become depressed and hopeless.  You cry... A lot.  You hate yourself for not being prepared and being stupid about not being prepared.  You dream about fried chicken and fried rice and vow to never put yourself in that position ever again.  You become desperate, thinking about doing worse things like suicide or robbing a bank or stealing food.  The devil is high spraying his evil mist at you.  In other words, if you have no strength inside your heart to fight all the things that tempt you to do, it will get done.

Now that was just one person.  As much as I am sure there are others out there like me, imagine the whole world in a state of famine?  Here is an interesting article about nanomanufacturing.  I encourage you to read it https://www.raptureready.com/featured/gillette/revsix3.html.  I saw a video on Facebook that evidences this prophesy.  https://www.facebook.com/walid.mekawy/videos/10203708850695826/

So when that day comes, and everyone is in a state of psyche such as I was, there will be chaos.  Even if you have started your organic garden now, if you are still alive then, how many starving people do you think will try to take yours?  How many bullets would you need to protect your family from them?  I know that you might think this is a gloom and doom post, but all I want for you is to get yourself prepared not for your physical well being but your spiritual well-being as well.  God will not allow His wrath on those who know and love Him.  You don't need to kill yourself planting a garden, saving enough ammo to protect you and your loved ones.  All you need to do is have a close loving relationship with God, the ALMIGHTY, who will accept you and protect you from the decay of this world.  Don't continue to be defiant.  It will be for your own good.

LOVING ONESELF

How many of us can really say that we love ourselves?  Often we as parents, especially mothers, generally nurture and take care of our families relentlessly and selflessly until our bodies are ran into the ground.  Everyone comes first.  Even the airline tell us to put on the oxygen mask first before we put it on or children.  There is a reason for that.  We need to take care and love ourselves first in order to be able to love an care for someone else.

Another scenario is self-confidence.  We are our own worse critics.  There is always that uglinator in our brains that tell us we are Inadequate, unqualified or not pretty enough, etc.  The worse part is that we believe it.  Our dreams are stunted because we fail in our brains before we even try.  It is, however, easier said than done influenced by perhaps a parent who put you down, a childhood teacher or friend that made you believe in their lies.  The key is to rise above the lies and acknowledge that they are, in fact, lies.

Who better to take His words to heart than God?  God created us in His wonderful image so we need to make a true effort to rock that!  He said we are perfect in His eyes! God, the almighty of it all!  He tells us we are better than adequate, we are made in His image.  We need to start believing that and affirming it to ourselves.  We have to be strong enough to emblazone that fact in our minds, hearts and spirit in order for us to be able to enjoy who we are in the grand scheme of things.

So tell yourself daily how blessed we truly are that we belong to God.  The God of the universe, the almighty one!

The Grand Retaliation

See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.  1 Thessalonians 5:15

My first gut reaction to this verse is, "Are you kidding me?" I'm sure I'm not alone in this dilemma.  Show me a person who has perfected the turn-the-other-cheek talent and I will bow down to him or her.

Awareness of our vulnerability and imperfection is ever present in our daily dealings with other humans who are, presumably, in the same boat.  There are people we meet everyday that are not hard to befriend, but then there are those whom we will never mesh with.  Nothing personal, but just some people rub us the wrong way.  I'm not certain whether this is because of a contemptuous familiarity with someone in our past or maybe just their mannerisms that irk us.  I personally don't hold anyone accountable for something I struggle with each day.

An example is a neighbor of ours who refuses to put in place a litter box for their cats so the cats make our neighborhood their veritable toilet.  It is a problem for me not only because I am deathly allergic to cats, but also because they ruin my garden I work so hard to maintain.  But what irks me even more are the people who think this is ok and it is a small battle to be won.  As much as I beg to differ, I realize that if I raise a stink with my neighbor, there will always be odd feelings, much worse that there is now.  In a way, because of my frustration, I sometimes don't care if there was one.  I just want the nasty habit to stop and the neighbors to be more neighborly and responsible animal owners.  I could go on and on about my stance on the subject matter but I am being taught by God to be more patient with them.

To be perfectly honest, I have a really hard time doing this but perhaps if I have perfected the task, it will be less and less annoying and daunting to me and I can progress to a higher level of humanity.

I do realize that it won't happen overnight.  That's just a pipe dream.  However, baby steps will get me there, that much I know.  My hopes are that when they see the change, they may be able to lift the smokescreen they've created and see themselves a lot clearer.  But the change begins with me.  Why?  Because I am not the boss of anyone.  Not the boss of my neighbors.  I can only boss myself.  Trying to MAKE them change is like a gerbil on an endless spinning wheel.

I do hope you can take this message and see yourself the same way and make that change.

PRAY

Contrary to popular belief, praying is not a formal audition or convention with a disassociated invisible being who determines whether a request should be granted or not, depending on how well you present your request.  Most people think that there are choice words that need to be used when praying to God.  Praying is not repeating a chant over and over again either as if God doesn't get it the first time.  Newsflash, God knows everything even before it happened.

Praying is simply a heart to heart conversation with God.  Respect is first and foremost, though.  Just imagine you are having a deep conversation with someone you trust, maybe a father, or a dear friend, whom you can talk to openly, no inhibitions, no hesitations, just pouring your heart out to that person because you have the confidence that He's got your back.

God is not a big, grumpy old man sitting on a throne in the sky ready to dole out punishments.   That is what humans urge you to believe.  God is your confidante, your protection, your guide, your love.  Someone who puts you up high, edifies you, your cheerleader, your friend.  He knows everyone's heart.  He knows what will happen to you even before you do.  If you let Him in He will do for you in your life like you have never ever experienced before.  That is because He loves you.  So much so that He sent two parts of Himself on earth to help you through this temporary life.  All He ever wants back is your love, to do His will for you, what you were born to do in this life for Him.

As long as you seek Him and His kingdom, you will truly always be lost.  There is a God-sized hole in your heart that only He can fill.  If you try to find it in this world, in a person, a thing, a job, etc. you will never find IT and you will keep searching until you finally accept Him in your life.  But when you do, oh boy oh boy, will it ever be worth it.

God is always just only a prayer away.  You don't need anything special to reach Him.  He will never be too busy for you... He's God!  His tremendous powers is unfathomable so quit trying to figure Him out.   You'll go nuts, trust me when I say so.  Speak from your heart, He will be there for you because after all, He never left.
